About the Website

Bharti Real Estate is the real estate arm of Bharti Enterprises, the group behind Bharti Airtel. Since 2003 it has delivered about 5.5 million sq. ft. of Grade-A commercial space across 14 projects, including Worldmark 1.0 in New Delhi, Worldmark Gurugram, Airtel Centre and Bharti Crescent.

Its flagship today is Worldmark at Aerocity, a global business district next to Delhi airport. Worldmark 2.0 (~6.3 million sq. ft.) and Worldmark 3.0 (~10.5 million sq. ft.) are under development, mixing offices with high-street and destination retail.

The buyers are corporate occupiers, retail brands, investors and talent. They research long before they enquire, so being found for the right searches matters as much as the brochure.

The Challenge

A respected brand offline, Bharti Real Estate (https://bhartirealestate.com/) was close to invisible in organic search. Until early 2024 its organic traffic and keyword footprint were effectively flat at zero.

  • Brand overlap. Searches for "Bharti" were dominated by bharti.com, Airtel and the wider group, so the real estate business rarely surfaced on its own.
  • Shared project names. Worldmark 1, 2 and 3 now sit with Brookfield India REIT, so brookfieldindiareit.in and worldmarkdelhincr.com compete for the same Worldmark and Aerocity searches.
  • Location competition. Aerocity searches also surface GMR's gmraerocity.com, which already pulled close to 590 monthly organic visits.
  • A brochure-style site. Project pages, ESG and news existed, but there was little content answering the questions occupiers and investors actually search.
  • AI search. Buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI features about developers and business districts. The brand needed to be cited there, not just ranked.

What we changed

The Solution

Strategy: Audit, Optimize, Scale

Treated the site as a B2B lead engine, not a brochure, and ran our three-step framework across four workstreams.

  1. Technical foundation
    • Crawl, indexation and speed audit of the WordPress build.
    • Clean canonicals and index rules, so every key page was eligible to rank.
    • Mobile-first fixes for occupiers browsing on the move.
  2. On-page and site architecture
    • Titles and metas built around commercial intent, such as "Grade-A commercial spaces in Delhi NCR".
    • Dedicated Worldmark 2.0 pages for offices, high-street retail and F&B, and destination retail, so each audience lands on its own page.
    • Internal links from About, Portfolio and ESG pages into the leasing journey.
  3. Content and entity clarity
    • An FAQ hub that answers the questions buyers ask: who develops Worldmark, how it relates to Brookfield REIT, how to enquire about leasing, and who manages the buildings.
    • Blog, news and ESG content to build topical authority on Aerocity, sustainable offices and Grade-A workspace.
    • Clear brand separation between Bharti Real Estate, Bharti Enterprises and the Worldmark brand.
  4. Authority and AI search (GEO)
    • Consistent entity signals across Wikipedia, LinkedIn and the site, the sources AI tools lean on most.
    • Answer-ready copy and structured data so ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI features can quote the site directly.
    • Digital PR and earned links that grew the profile to 1.7K referring domains.

Results

Organic search became a real acquisition channel: traffic climbed from almost nothing in early 2024 to a peak of about 31.9K monthly visits, and holds at 15.8K today, all without paid search.

Milestone figures are read from the SEMrush trend charts and are approximate; October 2026 figures are exact.

  • Quality over volume. The keyword set narrowed from its peak, yet traffic per keyword rose. The site now earns its visits from fewer, higher-intent terms.
  • Rankings that convert. 87.7% of the site's Google positions are standard organic listings, with a further 10.7% in other SERP features and 1.6% in AI Overviews.
  • Authority earned, not bought. 3.3K backlinks from 1.7K referring domains took the Authority Score to 33, rated "very good" by SEMrush.
  • Zero ad spend. Paid traffic and paid keywords are both 0, so every visit came from organic search.
